It’s a perfect match, roasted chicken thighs with garlic and maple syrup. Let the oven do most of the work with this one pan wonder. Add potatoes to the mix and you have a complete meal (well….you might want to add a vegetable or salad!) If you’re a garlic superfan, our Caesar salad would be a flavourful side. For a small amount of preparation combined with just over an hour in the oven it is definitely worth the wait. Roasted potatoes and delicious tender chicken thighs with the punch of garlic and a sweet finish of maple syrup.

Tinas Maple Chicken Thighs with Garlic

Ingredients
  

  • 9-12 chicken thighs bone-in/skin on
  • 3 large garlic cloves halfed
  • 2 large potatoes each potato cut into 6 pieces
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • pinch salt

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken in a suitably sized roasting pan or dish. Lightly salt and place garlic cloves randomly around the chicken.
  • Bake chicken thighs for 40 minutes @ 350℉.
  • Remove from oven and baste.
  • Add potatoes and bake an additional 40 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, drain off any residual grease and brush chicken with maple syrup mixed with a pinch of salt.
  • Bake an additional 30 minutes or until chicken is golden brown. Basting halfway.
    Remove garlic cloves and serve.
