Peanut Butter Squares

Sweet, fudge like peanut butter squares with fluffy marshmellows.
Servings 16 squares

Ingredients

  • 12 oz butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter smooth
  • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups small marshmallows

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, and stirring constantly, melt the butter, butterscotch chips and peanut butter. Stir until blended and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows.
  • Pour the mixture into a buttered 8 x 8 pan. Let cool and then refrigerate until set (2-3 hours)
  • Loosen with a knife and carefully drop out of the pan onto a cutting board. Cut into small squares and store in an appropriate container. They can be frozen (My Mom did it all the time)
