If want a side dish you can throw together on the fly, spicy fried noodles just might be it. Even if you’re looking for something other than potatoes or rice, this is tasty alternative. With garlic, onions and just enough hot peppers to give it a kick, these noodles go with almost anything. This is also a great way of turning leftover noodles into a delicious side for another dinner.

Spicy fried noodles with garlic and hot peppers
A delicious side dish with spaghetti noodles, onions, garlic and hot peppers.
Ingredients
- ½ lb cooked spaghetti noodles
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tbsp hot pepper jalapeno, Hungarian wax pepper etc.
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce
- 1 green onion chopped
Instructions
- Cook and drain the noodles, leave in colander.
- Heat the oil and quickly fry the garlic and peppers for about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and toss in the noodles.
- Return to heat and stir the noodles well, combining with the garlic and hot peppers, add soy sauce. Continue stirring until the noodles are hot and some of the moisture has been evaporated.
- Serve topped with green onions and additional soy sauce if desired.
